Founded in 2008, the North Saskatchewan River Basin Council (NSRBC) is a non-profit organization
Vision:
Our vision is simple. We want people of all ages to look up, look around, and Notice Nature! We believe noticing nature is the first step in supporting the development of Saskatchewan's future leaders in land and water stewardship.
Mission:
Our Mission is to nurture a connection and commitment to the natural world by providing accessible programs and resources that encourage everyone to notice nature.
We currently administer Notice Nature, a Saskatchewan community program created to encourage outdoor play through fun, nature-loving learning activities. Everyone of all ages is welcome to participate, and intergenerational participation is encouraged. Healthy land and water start with you. We're here to help you look up, look around, and notice nature, which we believe is the first step to land and water stewardship. Healthy land and water mean healthy wildlife, people, ecosystems, communities, and all the places we love. We hope you discover fun activities that help you connect with nature and inspire you to see your natural environment a little differently.
